"We can do Business." In partnership, we manage projects that set out to encourage and assist business. For example, we are a founding partner of the Somerset Skills Alliance (SSA), the largest Workforce Development initiative ever seen in the county
Our main objectives are :
- Provide an information channel between the SSP and the business sector.
- Contribute to SSP Economic Partnership and strategy for Somerset
- Represent the business community in the SSP Steering Group
- Lobby government and regional bodies on matters of concern to business
- Represent business interests to the Press
- Hold events to share interests and encourage best practice
