ENERGY-Threats And Opportunities

I went to an energy conference in Taunton recently. It was very well attended but hardly any business people present. That was a little worrying because some of the facts and figures presented were not at all encouraging. The stocks of traditional fuels are dwindling and demand is rising. Costs are bound to rise, possibly to unaffordable levels, but more importantly fuels such as gas may have to be rationed! On top of this we are facing climatic problems because of increased carbon emissions. It is clear that we need to change our habits but are we already too late to resolve the problems? What will the impact be on business and are there opportunities as well as problems?
